Varun Vishnubhatla: Bio

I'm Varun Vishnubhatla, the founder of TVA Tutoring and a rising senior at the Loudoun County Academy of Science and Briar Woods High School. I founded this tutoring program because I like to help others learn math and science concepts if they are genuinely interested. I want to help them be the best that they can be.  I plan to go to medical school to specialize in neurodegenerative disorders and minor in biomedical engineering. I have a strong interest in chemistry, biology and calculus.

At school, I've taken a variety of difficult classes. Currently at the Academy of Science I am working on a two year research project on the use of electrospun nanofibers as suitable hosts for antibodies. Over the summer, I decided it wouldn't be fair to keep this knowledge to myself and not share it. I started this, and decided to spread the knowledge. It also wouldn't be fair to make people pay for information. It should be free! After all, I never paid for it. It's good to give back to the community which gave so much to me.

If you'd like any more information about me, my school, my research, or have any questions about TVA Tutoring feel free to email me here

Anudeep Mangu: Bio

Hi, I'm Anudeep Mangu, a tutor at TVA tutoring!  I am a Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.  I am very excited to teach anybody who is willing to learn.  I am pursuing a career in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, due to my interest in physics, electronics, computer science, and mathematics.  As part of my research at TJ, I am planning of researching Optical and Electromagnetic Phenomena, as they can be researched using engineering concepts that I am interested in.  I plan on continuing similar lines of research later in my life as well.

I want to teach because I feel that having knowledge or interest isn't enough.  I want to give the knowledge to others, so they can lead productive lives as well.  I am really looking forward to teaching and helping as many people as I can!  If you have any questions about me personally, email me here.

Tarun Prabhala: Bio

I'm Tarun Prabhala, a former tutor, and one of the original three here at TVA Tutoring. As a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, I have been exposed to a variety of classes with extensive math and science concepts.  Utilizing such an exposure, I decided to broaden my horizon and transfer my knowledge into those who wish to know more. In the future, I hope to take my interest in biology, chemistry, medicine, and engineering to aid in my attending medical school and becoming a doctor.  I am currently doing research on alcoholism and its effects on gene expression. By the end of high school, I aspire to start researching in the field of neurological diseases, such as autism. In terms of a medical profession, however, I have my eyes set on going into psychiatry, sports medicine, or surgery.

Tutoring was something I've always wanted to do and now, have done. Likewise, teaching has always been a passion of mine.  I truly enjoyed the satisfaction that came from seeing a student further their studies and demonstrate serious improvements and a penchant for the subject.

If you have any questions regarding my work or my previous experience at TVA tutoring, or just any questions in general, please do not hesitate to e-mail me here. Working at TVA truly was a pleasure.

"It does not matter where we come from or what we look like. If we recognize our abilities, are willing to learn and use what we know in helping others, we will always have a place in the world."
